Asking for witnesses to incident in Braidwood
G'day everyone,
During our return from a very enjoyable weekend at Captains flat with you all, I was involved in a minor incident at the service station n Braidwood where a lady reversed her little Honda Jazz into the rear corner of my camper trailer whilst I was stationary at the time.
Unfortunately I received a letter in the mail today from the ladies insurance company, NSMA, stating that I was at fault in regards to the damage caused to her car.
Can I ask if any of you saw the incident, would you mind making a statement as to what you saw please?
Cheers,
Rob

WARNING!: Do not ever use a towball as a recovery point. They are not rated and can become a deadly projectile during a recovery if they snap off, and they have done so with tragic results in the past.

No worries Winnie. I was stationary at the time and she reversed into me so I can't see how its my fault.
Not to worry. If I can't find any witnesses then its her word against mine.

Do you have pictures of the damage on your camper? That could show that she hit you, not you hitting her.

Hmm, that sux, what's wrong with some people?? Even people that seem trustworthy can be dodgy sometimes, insurance could be partly to blame too. Best of luck with it. . .

Do you have insurance, if so get them to fight it and if she admitted fault verbally sign a stat dec to that fact and get your insurance company to fight it mate, they are trying to bluff you if your insurance company is not involved yet.
