Anyone tried the colourspec colour matched aerosol paint? i've seen it in a few supercheap junk mail pamphlets and was wondering if it is a good match. thanks

Ive tried some from Auto one , it was close but not exact.
At $30 a can better for plain colours not metallic

Thanks, I also wonder about the long-term durability (bout 5 years or so) due to it being acrylic but I suppose if it's from a can it won't really be long term anyway

I would think if the surface was prepped properly it should be ok.
As you said more a short term fix than a long term solution

Yes my idea was mostly to keep OCD at bay on a panel repair until I eventually get it resprayed or something

Check some of Parksy's work with a spray car very very nice IMO.
I had a battery spill and have paint missing when you open the rear big door.
A spray can near enough would be ideal to conceal it a bit better.

thanks for your input guys, i'll have a think about it, the car that i'm thinking of using it on doesn't have the best paint like your laser garett, but I think with polish and lots of clear coat I can get it looking similar enough
