    cargo window rust

Hey guys, I'm new around here.
Is there any relevant info RE: rust around the cargo windows in GQ patrols?
I wouldn't mind replacing them with a solid window but I haven't found any at a reasonable price yet.

Mine have rusted out on BOTH sides, I haven't removed them yet, but it looks to be isolated to the frames ONLY, is this usually the case, or does it spread into the panels?
Is this a Road Worthy issue?

mostly it's just the frames but can spread to the body. No idea if its a road worthy issue or not as we don't have those over here.
