Fitting a catch can

I already have a catch can fitted but I think its wrong,,,,,,,,,
shouldnt the can be lower than the outlets so the "fumes"
run down into the can and not back into the motor?

not necessarily as the pressure from the engine pushes the fumes and as its only a couple of inches it doesnt matter, i have emptied mine once since installing it and i got maybe 100ml over 12 mths and if the oil runs back into the rocker gear who cares its there to stop it getting back into the intake system.

Just didnt look right , but I'll leave it as is , just changing the hoses to AN8 and stainless braided
Fittings and hose is cheap enough these days, just to tidy the enging bay up a bit, I noticed there
was one coming off the cold intake after the MAF, as well, bummer I cant put pics I'll have a play.
