Great pix.
I would love to get over to Margaret River and the list of reasons is growing.
1. The wineries.
2. The Trout fishing
3. The scenery
4. Four Wheel driving

X 2 Ive heard some very nice wineries in the area, is it still recovering from fires not long ago
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Didn't see or hear anything about recovering from the fires. Recent fires were a bit south east of this area I think. Margaret River is a bit of a farm town, wine town and surf town. Good coverage of the tourist market in the area from high end villas to backpackers. Close to farming, and farm stay places, close to surf beaches and also close to winery,s, chocolate factory and the like. Plenty to see and do, and of coarse some 4wd tracks from easy to bloody ridiculous.

Lovely shots mate and thanks for sharing. @ Threedogs, just to add to 4bye4's great description - there are some ripper wineries in the area, being warm weather, the wines tend to be lighter than those over your way (central Victoria eg Brown Brothers). A few more down south further in the cooler climate heading towards Albany (Plantagenet Wines in Mt Barker is one of my favorites - http://www.plantagenetwines.com/). Albany has about the same temp and weather as Melbourne (give or take a degree or two).
