    Zd30 2008 crd boost gauge fit up

    Hi all this is the pipe running from the turbo to the inter cooler is this where I put the nipple ( indicated by my finger ) to atach my hose for the boost gauge if not where and could you add photos please.

    you could silver solder the bung there if you like,
    You can also buy boost gauge adaptors that fit uo under your boost sensor

    On any of those pipes mate will be fine. Where ever is easiest for you would work.

    I wouldn't fit one there.
    I would recommend fitting the sensor post intercooler not post turbo.

    That is the pressure the ECU and the engine will see.

    With a 2008 CRD I wouldn't even bother with a boost gauge at all and use a Scangauge

    Alternatively, you could just plug a scangauge into your ODB port and get your boost reading from the sensor already there

    Would you recommend running egt gauge with this system. Also which unit would you recommend Scangauge2 or the ScangaugeE cheers Nisshead
