From those that did this trip earlier this year or have camped at o'tooles before - are there any special spots to camp? I've read that its similar to Talbotville; big grass open plains with plenty of opening camping areas?

Yeah it's similar to Talbotville but smaller. I always camp at the far right because there is good river access and a big swimming hole, but there is not much sun on that side during the day. In the middle gets the most sun.

Ended up get of the walhalla - woods point map because it covered a bit more ground.
Winne - I think I read that you did some of deep creek tracks earlier this year? How'd you find them? Rooftop map says to avoid No. 1?

No 1 is one of the better ones =]
Look they are very hard tracks, that's where Roofy damaged his car. But I drove them all with 33s and no lockers.
There was a chicken track around the good bit though. CGM drove it all in his Jackaroo too

Very good thanks mate - normally rooftops maps are pretty good ad I've never read a warning like that on any of his maps!
Well be based out of o'tooles so may have a look at doing them while were in the area. -- anything else you recommend visiting in the area?
