I am currently running the Micky T MTZ's 265/75R16
when these go, I will be getting BFG AT KM2's
this is the only 4wd I have run anything but BFG's, and while I am impressed with what you can do with them on, my heart lies with the BFG's..... so they will be the next tyre change
Tidy Whitey - 99 GU TD42Ti - Diesel Gas, (GUIV Turbo & Intercooler 8Lb boost), 33" Micky T's Baja MTZ's, Dual Batt's, Cargo Barrier, rear draws, HID Super Oscars, winch, Grinch & witch attached and more goodies to come

Shame to see negative feedback on the fedral couragias, I fitted a set to my bus a few thousand k's ago (285/75/R16) and they have been great. Originally had mickey MTZ's but they had worn really badly and were louder than the federals.
Came down old greenhill rd (very steep with switchback turns) and no hairy moments and have been down the coorong a few times and at 15/18 PSI nothing stops you. Mine were $240 per tyre and 35's are $275 so good value for money.
Alternatively I Would highly recommend checking out tyresales.com they have good prices on there and once you choose and purchase your tyre you can select an outlet to have them fitted, when I was on there cooper muddies were $330 fitted but this will depend on tyre size and what's available. Good luck with your purchase as the mind boggles at the endless possibilities! Potsy.
2000 GU, TD42T, bullbar and roof racks, 2inch lift, winch, front and rear air lockers, 3inch Scotts rods dump and exhaust kit.....more to come!

$344 for 35's.
Like the look of these. I have Coopers at the moment and done 30k and they are just about stuffed.

Hmmmm, brain fart I thought I'd clear up. I meant BF Goodrich muddies rather than coopers.

I find they are terrible in muddy/slushy conditions. I did cross the simpson on them but they are chewed up and chopped out after about 20,000. I drive all sorts of conditions. Mud, sand rock and about 70% bitumen. I followed another car with Mickey thompsons and they really cleaned the tread as it went along. I find the mud stars dont do that. BFG or Mickeys for me, next.

They do wear quicker though which is a small draw back.
