    Hi Kyle,

I have moved your question out of the Introduction thread and into General Nissan Patrol chat and also re-titled your thread name as you might find you get more answers

    Cheers

Welcome to the forum mate and yea, I'm running a ZD30.

    I have a ZD30 (CRD) as well.
They will be most common on the forum as so many where made. The 2.8's where made for only a short time and TD42's where more expensive when new so less of them.

If indeed they are, then IMHO the most likely reason the ZD30 are the most common on the Forum is because they have the most issues.

I would suggest there is a hell of a lot of TD42's in Aus.
If not more than ZD30 than at least equal.
The 4.2 has been available for just shy of 20 years and that was over the period when Nissan had a decent share of the big 4WD market

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Don't forget there are a lot of TB42, 45 and 48 owners here.

And don't forget about the guys that run the 6.5 chev or the 6.6 duramax.

What about the gen 3 chevs and old 304-350 carbie motors
