well, after reading TimE write up.........
bugga me, I dont have to worry about it
mine was a NA and I added the Turbo & intercooler from a 2006
so the butterfly is already disconnected and I dont have the EGR to blank off either
mine is wholey and solely NON computerized, so they were never connected up
cheers anyway Cuppa

Bit of a thread dig...
Will be doing the entire removal this weekend. Well, whats left of my EGR system, which is basically the heat exchanger, associated coolant lines and the pipe at the back.
I have found this kit at Patrolapart. (pic below)
Everything is very straight forward. Only one thing I'm confused about.
The coolant T piece at top of motor, is removed and a in-line pipe is inserted. (pictured below)
But...
What happens to the coolant barb on the block ?? How is it blanked off? It does not appear to be in the kit.

I think its a threaded port into the block. You would remove the fitting and put a blanking plug in there. As for the size. I am not sure. I can have a look on the Nissanfast parts program tonight to see if it tells me anything.

Newby got me sorted mate. It's a blanking plate , after you take off the barb plate. Just picked the kit up from Patrolapart before.
Taking off the pipe at the back will be the biggest challenge. It's a contortionist challenge.
