    River Crossings Petrol or Diesel.

I had an arguement with my know it all mate lastnight about what engine would be better in deepish river crossings.

I believe a standard td42 would be far better off then his standard 2f petrol on his old fj cruiser.

We argued all bloody night and I just want you guys to confirm that im right with this.

The td42 is basic, not much electrics to drown and fail, same as the 2F but with his petrol surely when the plugs get wet thats all over red rover?

I know its a much of much story but surely the td42 would be better off then the old 2F petrol yeah?

x2 although Nissan & Toyota went to a lot of trouble to water proof the electrics in the petrol models the trusty old never say die TD42 would come out on top at the end of the day IMO.

    Cheers
