LRA auxiliary tank fitting instructions for a GU
HI all,
Would anyone have the instillation instructions for the sub tank 75ltr Long Range Automotive tanks? I got one second hand and am unsure if I am missing a bracket.
Cheers
Brad

Is the tank out of a GQ or a GU? A GQ sub tank will not fit a GU

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

It's out of a GU and from what other pics I have seen it is identical. There is just one support bracket I'm not sure about, everything else seems to line up.

Yes the GQ and GU sub tanks look identical to look at the bracketry is off. If it is a GU then it should basically bolt straight up. Have you checked the LRA site for a PDF Download?

Have a read of this mate and have a look around there. The basic instructions will be the same for the rear replacement and the sub replacement.

I have measured it up and all seem like it will fit it's just one bracket that I'm not sure of, the rear passenger side bracket. Be good if someone that has one to take a pic, that would be great 😃image.jpg

Dunno mate. I bought it off boots a while back. Just been too busy to install it.
It wasn't nice a black when I got it too. Gave it a coat of POR15...
