The site in the photo is 2 river crossings away from the main "Running Creek" camp. And no chance you'll get there with a normal car. Even though water is shallow, especially in summer. There is large boulders in the river, so 4x4 is a must.... You can also come from the north, but there is some very steep tracks through jamieson to get to it.
But you will get to the main Running Creek camp site (large open family site), with a normal car with ease.
Hope this helps.

Your votes are in & we have our winners.
In first place with 16 votes we have a worthy winning shot entered by Throbbinhood of a great camp out Walhalla way. It captures what is special about the Victorian high country.
In second place we have two joint winners with 12 votes each.
Onkey’s caravan winter madness - only a Pom could consider that sort of camping!
Jonez911 much warmer camp at Runnng Waters WA.
In third place we have two more joint winners with 10 votes each.
Katwoman’s photo of Roofy & Jane’s camp up on Blue Rag, in the Victorian High Country.
Rossco’s shot of camp with forum friends at Comet Flat, near Woods Point.
Congratulations to Throbbinhood. (Please PM me with your choice of topic for our March competition). Thanks also to last month’s winner Growler for his choice of this month’s topic.
Regards
Cuppa
