    TD42 Turbo mod

    Hi all

    I have a standard 1999 y61 td42 which has been fitted with a turbo, the only problem is that i keep on popping the head gasket.
    the turbo is running at 0.7bar

    Any ideas

    14osi = 1 bar aprox

    This was happening to an old mates car a while back and it ended up being a warped head but hopefully someone else can offer better advice...

    A TD42 should easily handle a lot more 0.7 bar boost. As AB suggested there may be a problem with the head. Is he using Genuine Nissan gaskets or aftermarket?

    Genuine gaskets and the head has been into specialist twice now. and seems fine
