    Couldn't understand listings like this.
    Found out when they are out of stock they up the price.
    Keeps the listing active.
    Must be eBay rules for business sellers.

    I used to do that. But now I made up a "out of stock" banner I just put up as the first photo. Its only to keep the listing active andcfor buyers to know that you sell that particular product.

    I has actually happened to me. Originally I used to keep the correct price and up the postage buy 100 dollars and then put a note on the listing saying we are out of stock etc etc. I had on a few occasions people buy and pay for the lot, and many ask why my postage was so high without even reading the description. So it's easier to keep the listing active and just change the main picture with a message in the description. ..
