    Anyway, Plastic won't help, indeed will probably be worse.
    Anything that will let air circulate and draw the moisture out to the side and away is the go.
    The best stuff by a long way for hard surfaces like Vans and Boats is that thingy Cuppa posted up but not sure how you will go with that on a stretcher.

    i dont think there is really much you can do mate? isnt it caused by your body heat? in my trailer there is one exposed metal panel which has the outside world on it and its always soaked in the morning, i think its because your breathing out condensed air which cools rapidly on a different surface, i cant imagine its much different on a matress that is raised off the ground in an enclosed space? only thing that might help would be somthing to increase airflow around the bed?

    He used to be a shiny nail until he used a stretcher!

    If you use the under mesh make sure it’s wide enough to stick out a bit either side of the mattress, possibly with some newspaper under it.
