King Springs Koni front setup, Air bag Rear
Ive been doing some research but still a little dazed by the fact theres alot to learn and consider, I knew it probably would but hey its always worth it. From what i can gather and been told by a diesel mechanic nephew I thought would be worth throwing it out here and see what i could, should consider.
My 2014GU is stock.
I want to upgrade to 33s
I want a 2" lift
Im thinking about the following based on my little knowledge, and hoping to get a desired outcome that gives me a gentle ride towing a trailer for firewood and others for boats
The front setup Ive driven yotas with them on and off road and liked them, unfortunately just not in any of the later model gu,s
Im looking for King with Konis for the front and airbag the back to allow for my different towing weights, i have an onboard compressor so thats covered.
Has anyone done this and can provide feedback, pics, part numbers, dos and donts.even recommendations for a reputable supplier to install. Im in Melbourne
Cheers

BIG & BALD
Not sure which part of Melb but Stretch had both his cars in kings and Koni's, through a mob called ONTRACK 4x4 in Kealba in the western suburbs if that's any help.
He loves the set up, using adjustable shocks to get the ride how he wants it.

Legendary
Smoothrun,
I always run Koni's and usually Kings Springs too .... great combination in my opinion.
Koni's head office is in Vermont Melbourne if that helps, where they do supply and install .... try progressive rate coils in the rear for a softer unladen ride

You can run the 33''s with the standard height suspension too, if you want to get the tyres done first

I have king springs , bilstien shocks and air bags in the rear, very happy with the set up, make shure you get the right spring rate to suite your load and accessories.
