My introduction and a question

G'day all firstly what a awesome resource for newbie like me !! Lol
My trol is a 99 gu ti 4.5 auto petrol and lpg. With a few mods and I don't mind telling you its been the best 4x4 I've owned by far (had Toyotas in the past).
I've just finished a road trip from the sunny coast qld to the gulf of Carpentaria nt where I am now working on a station and it went like a dream.
So my question is this if anyone can help?
Before my trip I had some new spoties fitted to existing wiring and a winch new install fitted.
The last day of driving of driving was getting late so I switched on the lights with the steering column stick, and it disengaged the overdrive !! Lol every setting would do the same. As soon as some power to the lights was on high or low beam it switched off the overdrive.
To be honest i I've not driven the car much at night so I don't know if its a long term fault.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Drillbit might want to pop over to the intros first before asking a question,

Probably be checking some earths, GU's always have earth problems
