    Factory thermo sensor

    Hi all

I think this sensor is U/S but I'd like to make sure first. Depending on temp, is the resistance of this sensor either open or closed, or does it have a wide variation in resistance as the temp changes? Ie 1000 ohms when cold and 200 when warm?

Is someone able to check?? Mine is a tb42e.

    Thanks for reading.

IMO and should be taken with a grain of salt.

thats the one for the aircon in the GQ right?

from my understanding (having never pulled one apart) once your radiator gets to set temp, it open circuits and turns the aircon off.......
a real bitch when driving in the Pilbarra towing a van - one minute aircon working, next minute not..................

not sure how to test it, but someone like ET or Yendor could possibly explain the workings better than I..........
