    Gu3-4 engines

Just trying to figure out, is the gu3 zd30 same as gu4 zd30? Then gu 5/6 has common rail?
I'm thinking of getting a 4or5 soon and I have a dp chip for gu3 zd30 I'm hoping to re-use on my next truck.
    Thanks!

It should fit no problem mate, not sure if it will fit the CRD though?? Have a look at their website for part numbers and application.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

2007 was when they went to crd I think so gu 5? 2000 to 2003 was generally the grenade model zd30 2004 should be the go so late gu3 and gu 4 should have a zd30 that's better and they should be the same.

Your chip is OK for a GU IV but won't fit a GU V or later.

If your budget permits I would try to find a ZD30 CRD rather than a Di tho.

There are some GUIV's with the CRD engine. My 2007 DX is registered as a GUIV and definitely has the common rail engine.
Redbook lists GUIV, GU 5 and GU 6 as all being sold in 2007.
