cant believe you paid $1800, I would not put that on my Patrol either.
I wont say what I know about CC but clearly that needs to be replaced.
You need to talk to the top honcho which I believe may get better results

The packaging wasnt great I believe one of the mounting brackets had busted through the box, I work away so havent even seen the cooler yet, when I questioned the sales rep they said they knew about it thats why they put it on the fanside you cant see, so out of sight out of mind... I dont think so, I cant even contact them on the phone because of time differences, customer service has been appauling , and I can only deal with these people via email... ive already contacted consumer protection and am starting a case

surely if damaged in transit which looks to be the case insurance would cover it.
Did you need to sign for it.
Hate to say it but if damaged in transit thats not CC's fault, thats why we have registered post etc

But Cross Country have acknowledged that it is a manufacturing fault and they even knew about it.

actually sounds like it is, as all the correspondence has been via email. much better than doing things over the phone.

the more I hear about the Cross Country ones - and their great service
the more I tend to believe they are crap................. and a waste of money

Looks like it has been damaged in transport, as there is no way that any company would send out a product like that - especially so obvious ....

You can get it Tig Welded if worst comes to worst, and although there will always be the blemish marks, it will still perform well and be safe to use, but I would be pressing for a replacement as this isn't what you paid for.

Ill keep everyone updated on how I go I have now spoken to grant the director and owner ,I guess its the weekend now so ill have to wait till monday when there open,He did say if I send the cooler back as soon as I give him the tracking number he will send me a "PERFECT ONE" from his end... see if they can keep there end of the bargain much appreciated for all the comments and advice peoples
