Red face A proud 25 year old GQ owner says hi

    Hi everyone,

I recently bought a 1989 GQ from a nice and kind gentleman from NSW, who loved this car and spent so much time and money on it, but recently upgraded to a GU and left this precious to me.

To make myself feel overwhelmed, the list goes:

Unopened silvertop with schwitzer turbo and frozenboost W2A intercooler.

Hi mount Warn 8274 with plasma rope on TJM steel bar.

    120 amp AAE alternator.

Triple battery setup - 2X100 AH batteries behind cargo barrier. All connected (including winch) with welding cable properly crimped. Near new starting battery.

3" Donaldson air filter with Safari snorkel.

Front Lokka and factory rear locker with swaybar disconnect. 2" lift on Dobinson springs and TD adjustables. Lengthened sway bar links, camber bushes, radius arm spacers, all new bushes F&R and new body mounts in last 10000 kms.

3" exhaust with heat wrap on dump pipe.

LR tank - 146 litres. Lift pump with pre filter and bypass.

Custom rear bar with twin spare wheels, LED lights and reversing light.

TJM alloy roof rack with more led lights - see photos.

Custom drawer unit with fridge slide to suit waeco 50 or similar. Drop down table with LED lighting.

Custom headlights - 35W HID with projector units from the Retrofit source in the US (same mob as Mick uses). Narva 170 ultimas with 35W HID bulbs.

Alpine Ipod head unit with splits in front doors and 2X 6X9 Kenwood 4 ways in enclosures on cargo barriers. 8" sub in custom enclosure. 2 amps. All speaker wires upgraded. Floor and doors dynamatted with stereo install.

1500 watt inverter - will run an angle grinder.

TI twin piston calipers with big disks. TI tri spoke alloys with excellent Mickey Thompson ATZ tyres - only just over 10000 kms. 2 MT muddies on GU steel spares.

Additional instruments - oil pressure and temperature, digital EGT, boost, intake temperature, Watchdog cyl head temp gauge, rear battery voltage, in car and out side temperature.

Overhead console with 40 channel CB and LED lights in all interior lights.

BMW leather seats in front - adjustable every which way. Waeco cooler/heater between seats. 360mm Momo steering wheel - very rare indeed.

Look forward to share and enjoy information and knowledge with you guys.

Welcome aboard mate, looks like you've got a well sorted vehicle there. Any chance you can throw up some pics of those BMW seats?
