Barn door table
Whipped this up this morning. Bunnings wanted $94 for the checker plate. Went to the local metal fabricator and he charged me $18 and cut it to the size I wanted. $25 for the other fitting. Fairly happy. image.jpgimage.jpg

I got some wire rope. Mounted the top eyelet thing behind the plastic to keep it looking tidy. Just need to trim the screws and make something to hold it up. image.jpg

How much weight can you put on it b4 it flexes? It's come up good mate, and nice price also

Until what flexes? Chequer plate or barn door?

As in double over the front, or make a small lip that points down, to give a bit of rigidity?
