Thanks katwoman ans mudski.
We're probably getting a 65l waeco. Taller than both of yours and side hinge rather than end hinge on the arb so I have a feeling this might be an issue.
I'll have to have a really good measure up but I may have to reconsider building my own.

One thing I've noticed with these steel draws (in general) is they all seem to be really catious about extended weight on the draws..
My outback draws have about a 300mm over lap on the draw when fully extended..
That's a crazy huge amount..
I'm going to pull mine out and mod it so it has a 100mm overlap and you can actually get stuff out from the back of the draws..
I'll assume the fridge slide top is the same but not sure how easy that is to mod..

Little bird told me that TJM will soon have a drawer system of their own.
About time, I say lol
There must be a way to make a drop down that doesn't cost the earth

When you find one let me know.
Might replace my solid mdf fridge surround with cage / mesh setup for ventilation reasons...

Mate I'd go to Robot buy a sheet of mesh and go from there, might only cost $60 for a large sheet.
enough to make some covers for the cargo area windows as well ,protect you tint a bit.
You can buy special clips to hold it all together or just tack weld in a few places.
