    Y61 td42

    Hi guys. What are the torque specs for Y61 TD42 cylinder head? And the valve clearance.. inlet and exhaust. Please help me guys. Many thanks. Tomboy.

    Torque is in 2 stages. Stage 1= 39-44Nm. Stage 2= 59-64Nm.
    Inlet valve clearances are both same & are 0.030-0.040mm (warm engine)

    valve clearance. Y61 TD42

    Your torque specs are wrong mate.

    There are 3 different sequences depending on which td42 you have.

    TD42

    1- 49-59nm
    2- 98-108nm

    TD42T

    1- 39-44nm
    2- 59-64nm
    3- +110 degrees

    TD42Ti

    1- 40-44nm
    2- 59-63nm
    3- +100-120 degrees.
