There was a huge uproar by the strath community when they shut it down.

I saw the big concrete block moved aside at the last gate and the roads were in good nick.

Unfortunately they are only throwing rock in the ruts so its an ongoing maintenance for access each season but the amount of business this brings to the community is in the thousands so fingers crossed its kept up.

Pretty disappointing though, it must've been only open for a few days as it was confirmed still shut 3 days before we checked it out.

That spot we go to had a recently used fire pit in the sand full of broken beer bottles, can and rubbish

If anyone heads in there, please clean up after yourselves ofcourse but if you see rubbish please try and help clean it.

I can't stand seeing that crap and its a magical spot only 3 hours from Melbourne
