Thread: child restraints / CRAB bar installation costs

    Digging up this old thread as I'm in a similar situation. Installing drawers and need to also have a child seat, is the CRAB bar the only option i have? Or possibly modify the drawers (cut out and box in a section) to allow for the child restraint strap to still go to the factory mounting point in the floor?

    Yep crab bar, or cutout a section of you already have the drawers. There is a brand that has child anchor points installed already but can't remember who. Someone else May remember though

    Outback and MSA drawers have the anchor points built into the back.

    Am in the same dilemna myself as I fitted an old set of Outback drawers which do not have them.
