    This is how I light my fires, inbuilt peizo ignitor.....Still usually carry matches as a backup though, and a ciggie lighter.

    Did forget it and all my other usuals for lighting fires last time I went out, ended up using the single gas cooker and some leaves

    A big tarp could be the difference between a good or bad weekend.
    at least you can get under shelter if its only a brief shower..
    the one we take is 18ft x 18ft with a 6 ft back wall, we use an old shade sail cut to size for a side wall
