2" lift the same on GQ & GU????

I remember reading one of AB's posts that there is a difference in height of a 2" GU and GQ lift. A 2" GU is a 3" on a GQ is this right. I cant bloody find the original post/thread on this.

You could really heavy 2 inch gu springs in and it could lift it 3 inch, it is all a matter of spring rate.

But remember the GU is a heavier car, so if you put GU springs in a GQ it will be a harsher ride.
I have 2" GU springs in my GQ and it does not flex well but drives brilliantly on road. Would not have wanted anything else on the Simmo trip

Mine flexes ok but I have quite a lot of weight on board. Winnie, once you get the rear bar and including your drawers you'll find it'll start to perform better.
Growler, I have a very similar setup to Winnie but I have the Kaymar on the back and a steel drawer system with a heap of stuff permanently in there and my 2 inch GU lift sits at about 2.5 inches on the GQ

Fair enough!! Yeah reckon it wouldn't make too much difference, there wouldn't be to much between them.
