Hi. I bought a second hand nissan patrol (single cab) last year. Y61, TD42. After replacing the clutch plate, pressure plate etc etc last week, no idea what went wrong. How do I remove the main crank shaft pulley to get to the timing cover. Hope I'm making sense Please help. Am a 33 year old female. I need my truck back on the road please.

There is power. The truck starts. Had a hard time bleeding the clutch. Tried to reverse out from under the shed and all of a sudden there was a loud noise in the engine. Took the gear box off again and finding it hard to remove the crank shaft pulley. Am lost and don't know what went wrong and where to start.

    Location?

Do you mean the flywheel is hard to remove?

    What clutch did you use?

Did the noise stop the engine? Was it a rotational noise?

After the clutch, pressure plate and release bearing were replaced. Fuel line also flushed out. got the engine started, all was ok until I revved a bit too much causing a knock inside the engine. Dumb thing to do. Yes, it sounded like a rotational noise.
