Going to fill @oncedisturbed dilly bag with a heap of sticks and some
tapers of paper, that way I can have a cuppa anywhere ,,anytime
    from my Gillie kettle.
The kettle has its own wooden box so everything is kept nice and dry

Brought mine from the UK for just on $100 from memory.
for the base of the fire Ive used a 100mm SS disc that will protect the alloy
    a tad.
There was a mob in AUS that sold them in a wooden case with 2 x enamel mugs

Found it handy on the last day of camp after the camp fire has been put out.
A hand full of leaf litter and bingo instant hot water, I love it, boils very fast
    by design

I suppose most have seen my camp over lid lifter.
spied this one on ebay could be made for less than
$20, you could get abit stylish with it but the idea is there
, just use a pine bun foot from the furniture section at bunnings.
then a 5/16" hook of the correct size a few washers nuts and
a wing nut and away you go, only put it on when you want to lift it,
I can see a steel one in the makings as I type, Dont leave on whilst
cooking especially with COT. Has potenial modified a bit
