You've done extremely well. Good on you for taking on the job, not sure I'd have the confidence to do it myself.

I’ve had some sleepless nights along the way. I enjoy making stuff, the thing I’ve found hardest is working out what order to do stuff in. There are also a few things with unique ‘Cuppa solutions’ which would no doubt raise a smile from a tradie. If I were doing it a second time it would be a lot easier & quicker. At school I was the kid who always had the wobbly woodwork project. Power tools changed this by giving me the ability to cut wood straight! I have done a couple of house renos in the past but never a ‘build from scratch' project.

This was the kitchen I built in Callignee South 20 years ago using timber milled off our property (Cypress) & sourced rough sawn from a mill at Rosedale (Blackwood). Photo was taken a couple of years ago when we were selling the place. A couple of cupboard doors had warped slightly over the years, but it just added 'character’

    Ripper build Cuppa..
Just be cautious of sparks though mate getting onto the roof. I read of a bloke loosing his shed due to a bag of rags catching alight from grinding sparks..

So what's the plan Cuppa? Lease out the house allowing you to travel long term but can still come back to the shed/dwelling if needed? Somewhere to call home as such.

Do you think there is enough room in there for a dyno and a hoist?

All a matter of priorities Matt.
