OK one of my sons working in Traffic found a 42" lightbar on the freeway.
the lead has been cut and it slid a fair distance looking at it. Any way it has no mounting bolts
so I unscrewed the end caps to have a look [easy as I think] so I tack welded a penny washer
to a 6mm bolt and cut flats on the washer to suit the end caps.
Now its stronger than before, well I think anyway

Repaired the other end the same way,,,,, now I have a 42" lightbar with spread on each end
Not sure where to mount it if at all, Better check to see if it works first eh lol

I may have put this here before, but if you have 2 horse shoes and a rail peg
you can make you're own rustic stubbie holder, you can even put a lower shelf on it
to hold your smokes etc. 12mm rod would be better than what I have but you
    get the picture, lol

@ben e boy could you use eye bolts as a lifting spot

Thought I might post a few pics of some of the stuff I’ve been building in our shed. Keeps me busy, gives me a reason to get up each morning, & is taking us ever closer to our dream of long term travel.

The shed (& the wood store built from old hardwood pallets)

    Dwelling layout

The workspace & the dwelling exterior

    Cupboards

    Wardrobe -4 bays/doors 3.8 metres long

    Kitchen

    Living room

Mobile cabinet for a benchtop oven & microwave. (rather than take up valuable bench & cupboard space in the kitchen this will live in the shed & get wheeled in & out as needed - or just used in the shed).

    Bathroom
Used ‘Signbond’ (3mm powder coated aluminium sandwich panel for shower walls & splash back )

I’m slow as I need to learn many things as I do them, but I’m getting there. Have been refurbishing some secondhand doors today, & expect to be laying vinyl flooring (planks) next.

Ta. Neighbour is a sparkie & helped with the wiring. Paid a plasterer to do the gyprock & a plumber to install the gas (for compliance certificate), but basically everything else I've done myself (with occasional help from MrsTea).
