Hi Darren,
You are right on the border of going 43 or 85 % reduction. The 85% gears will usually give you a top speed of 55kmph but with 35's and a petrol motor you should get a higher speed. The lower the reduction the better the car will hold up going down hills.
By far our most popular gears are the 43% they are a good compromise with low range ability and low range speed for sand etc. The reduction with the 43% with 35's will take it slightly below the standard ratio with 31's.
I hope this has given you a bit more information.
Hi Jason,
We only do a few old Ford V8 conversions to the Land Cruisers (60/70 series etc) nothing for the newer motors and nothing into the Patrols.
Cheers Elliot

Hey Wazza, I don't know if he gets on here that often mate. Might be quicker to give him a call on Monday....but you never know.

Hi jpvm,
As yet we haven't looked at fitting the 5.6lt motor, if Nissan's other motors are to go by the bolt up patterns could be the same (4.2, 4.5, 4.8)
As soon as anything is looked into I will let know.
Hi Wazza,
We specialise in fitting V8's.
The bellhousing to block will bolt up, you will need to run an early TD42 Auto flexplate (out of a GQ), you will also need to re tap the TD42 starter motor bolt hose in the 4.8 bellhousing. There might be a couple of other things to do but not much. The engine mounts are in the same position.
You could give a good Nissan wrecker a call and see if they have any more information. To get the auto running you will need to feed it with the correct signals - talking to someone like Kewish Autos or Wholesale Autos should sort you out there.
If anyone has any more questions just post them up - i'll try to remember to check here as often as possible.
Cheers
Elliot
