Factory Steel Bar with Factory Winch??

Hi All,

My ute came with a factory steel bull bar and winch. I am assuming factory option but I'm not sure. I have a switch in the Cab that you can hold on one direction release to off and then hold on in the other direction so I would think forward and reverse for the winch. I thought you had to be outside the cab to control them? I have no manuals for it so I am not sure how its been setup etc.IMG_0081.JPGIMG_0082.JPGIMG_0085.JPG

Hi mate,

As far as I'm aware, the winches fitted by dealerships are usually an aftermarket name brand (warn, etc)
Looks like the remote unit hasn't been plugged in for a long time from the state of those pins.
Possibly last owner wired that in as the lost the remote that plugs in to control the winch?

Cheers Evo, I think the winch probably needs a service. I can here a clicking noise when I hold the switch in either direction, I guess I need someone standing in front of it while I press the switch to see if anything happens.
