    Wanting a Wagon

    Hi all

I've been wanting to get a patrol wagon for a while now reasons being more space for passengers and in my opinion better suited for camping and I am also wanting it to be just my fun/camping vehicle and not my daily drive. SOO... here is my dilemma I can't afford to just go and buy a wagon, in order for this to happen I would have to sell my Gu ute , and look at getting a GQ wagon and a something like a mid 2000's Hilux as my work ute. I'm just not sure if its the right decision.

any input and advise would be much appreciated.

    Cheers Lachy.

stop being a w#nker and keep the best ute going. (2006 4.2) Just get a removable canopy and it will be great until you have a family. Then buy the wagon and turn the ute into a comp truck!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, get a pod on it, and if it is only you then set it up with a bed too.

Wagon's are good, but as soon as my kids have flown the coop, I will be going back to a good ute setup.

With a wagon you have more trouble fitting in things like water storage, extra battery capacity, fridge, kitchen, lighting, etc. etc. It can all be done, but it isn't as easy or convenient.

If you need to carry more than two people, then the equation goes back to the wagon.
Between Patrols ATM. Had a beaut GU with 6.5 Chev TD. Next is a GU ute with a 4.5 litre Cummins conversion and a camper on the back.
