    Turbo for gq 4.2 diesel

Hi looking for a good cheap basic turbo kit to get me started on my GQ. I have found a few Safari turbo kits on Ebay and was wondering if anyone has used or know of anyone that has and what are they like. Also have seen the Kinugawa trubo kits on Ebay as well and was wondering how well they go on a standard GQ.

Both of those Turbos are great mate. that Safari kit used to be managed by ARB and are a long term product in the industry.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I have a safari system in my patrol. Must have been there since new (300ks new). Only running 8psi and it boosts from 1100rpm through to about 3600
I talked to a guy that had an upgraded IP and ran his at 17psi.
