    DynaMat

    Hi
Just threw up a few pics of the Dynamat job I did on the Patrol, gee it makes a difference to the road noise.
Now just have to rip the roof lining out and Dynamat that as well!!!

Yeah big difference on the noise front, makes me want to line the firewall on the inside of the vehicle (I reckon a good % of the noise comes from there). But first stop is the roof lining, then the doors, and see how we're traveling then.
For anyone who is looking at doing a Dynamat job, what you see here is one whole box!!! I've started just infront of the rear seats, and go right up under the dash. I need to go back and do under the rear seats at a later time.

I am waiting on a shipment from overseas to finish the job as the local prices are nuts..

I did firewall and floor in the front..

Did some more today after I took these photos.

While you're at it I would do the doors too. Also makes a huge improvement to your speakers.

I can do doors later but the firewall was the main priority. ..

Your biggest worry is buying the bitumen based stuff.
It melts away with low heats and makes just a big mess..
What about the stuff I tagged in the sound deadening thread.
It's exactly the same as dynamat but with out the brand name, nor price tag...
Ask FNQGU.. He bought genuine and the left over stuff I had and can confirm it's the same..
    Cheers
