    What should i look out for when buying a patrol

    Hi guys I am thinking of buying a patrol was thinking the 3ltr but heard mixed reviews mostly pre 2003 I am probably going to aim for 2004 or newer and wondered what the common problems are and what to look out for cheers

    Take it to a mechanic and get it checked out deffinatly the way to go as they are trained in these things
    in s.a. We take it to r.a.a to do a full check and report

    yeah I was told to do that by a friend of mine also. I just wondered what the common problems were with the post 2004 just to give me an idea

    If the intercooler is oily that'll cost you $600 plus to fix.
    If you can put it up on a hoist it would be to your advantage
    take a big screwdriver and check all bushes
    04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
