Beginner
yeah Im after the manual aswell
But anyway, its good to know some people here with the same interest in Patrols.
Its just a great car, just got mine about 2 weeks ago and I need to do some fixing obviously.
Can anyone probably tell me what the difference between the trailing arm and the control arm is?
Maybe with a foto, as I need to get new front trailing arm bushes for the roady and Im not
quite sure how to get my hands on these. I found a place where they want to have 40$ each.
Quite expensive isnīt it? Anyone knows a good place around Melbourne where u can get em cheap?
cheers
Ivo

Control arms are the arms that locate the diff to the chassis. The arms to the rear diff are sometimes referred to as trailing arms (they trail from the chassis to the diff) and the arms that locate the front diff are referred to as radius arms.
$40 each is about standard and it is probably also worthwhile replacing the bushes at the chassis end of the radius arms at the same time. Stick with rubber bushes as they will allow more suspension flex than the harder urethane type bushes.

Hi everyone, newcomer living on the island of Roatan, Honduras who was looking for a wiring diagram for a 2000 Nissan Patrol. I'm trying to install a car alarm and unsure if my Patrol has a negative trigger or positive trigger system on the door locks. I'm also unsure of where to find the wiring for the door locks, didn't know if the manual would have that info.

Hi Pedro, Welcome to the forum mate, jump over and post an intro thread in the introduction section and have a look around. The Manual hosted here for download are the complete 1200+ page factory manuals and there is more than 1! most of the available supplements are also available for download once you have contributed 25 posts to the site.
The Manuals here are NOT the Hayse style owners manuals. You will get Full wiring, mechanical,, maintenance, Factory Manuals is what is available here!!! The Cost$$$$? just a few contributions to threads my friend.
Enjoy.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
