Sorry ‘bout that.... such is life...... would’ve preferred to know it had gone to a good home.

I did actually mention the possibility of selling it on the forum back in April. Someone here expressed interest (via PM) but I think my asking price was a bit too high for them. As it was, it was the price I got when I traded it.

If anyone has either a .22 Magnum or a 12 gauge I have 2 or 3 boxes of magnum shells & a box & a bit of shotgun cartridges I no longer need, plus 3 or 4 unused trigger locks which came with my gun safe & a lined canvas gun case suitable for a folding firearm (my 12 gauge was a folder). Happy to consider swaps for anything of interest.

Bought a couple air rifles two years ago when .22 rimfire was almost impossible to buy in the USA with the 'We can't take yer guns but we can take your ammo' hype that was going on.
One was a German break apart, .22 cal the other a .177 with a silencer (yes it was legal). Instead of the 12 gauge OH or Auto for birds and rabbits in the vineyard started to use these single shots. Actually took me back a long time in history and in addition revitalized my single shot accuracy having a lot of fun with them. No more spray and pray (kidding).

Why are silencers illegal in Aus?
You can buy them in the UK, but not via mail order.
