GU 2.8 TD 1998 cracked rocker cover

Hi guys when I first brought my GU I had noticed a small weep of oil from the rocker cover near the vacuum pump. I have since had a closer look and yep its a crack, now i have done the old ring around with the wreckers and found the rocker covers are like rocking horse teeth!!! This suxs big time! I finally found a second hand one from a wrecker in VIC when it arrived here low and behold it was cracked too. Not happy JAN! So rang the wrecker up and he is gunna send out another one. Now there is a warning on the rocker cover about having the engine in the correct position before removing the rocker cover but i dont know what position that is, can anyone help please???
