    Top Dualcab 4.2td conversion

Spied this in my travels this morning , going to make a top touring setup.
As well as the scrub bars it has pipework going up the "A" pillar to the roof cage,
Motor wise it has a 3ltr CRD which will be replaced with a TD4.2.
I love full size dualcabs as they are more practical than a pod, but that's me.
Only the good gear has been used, note Raslarr snorkel
This is one of the better set ups I've seen in a while

Yeah gotta love the dual cabs being so versatile. I could utilize/organize the area behind the pod a little better though!

I've made a similar pod/roof rack setup for my ute that can be removed by way of jacks so I can have the tray for other uses.

I thought it would have two spares across the back, but not to be.
I have to go there again tomorrow so Ill find out what he intends to use it for.
the rear seems to have a platform for standing so maybe photography/shooting.
It is very clean, with a tigged CRD IC that will be replaced with a 4.2TD

I wasnt aware you could put a td into a patrol that is a crd due to emission laws.

I'll check tomorrow for you when I'm down there.
Its too good a Patrol to go outside the guide lines IMO

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Do you know if it was Rasllars bar work? Looked like some of Cheezys work. He is up and about again not as Cheezy though.
