Drop Hitch to suit Kaymar Bar

    Hi all,

I've recently got a Kaymar rear bar and was wondering if anyone knew where to get a drop hitch for the towbar? Custom made or off the shelf around Brisbane.

I have a deep box on the left swing-away plus the angle on the trailer is no longer level.

    Thanks

Your local 4x4 shop may sell them, other than that go to a towbar fitting shop.

As TD mentioned mate most 4x4 shops have different drop and length variations to suit.

If it's the same as mine (GQ) though, the corners of the receiver are slightly rounded and many standard squared-off hitches don't fit.

So it's going to be trial and error for you (and me).....

Unfortunately mate, you might have to go to Kaymar and buy one from them while taking the pineapple........

Do you own a grinder? It would take 2 mins to round off the edge or if your worried about heating the hitch use a file
