Expert
estimated costs for a 4 night trip to Moreton Is.
Thinking of heading over to the isle for a while... kicking back on the beach for a afternoons fishing, drinking, looking at the girls in bikinis... you know... living the dream Having never done it before, I am wondering what the expenses I need to consider to organise it...
Camp fees?
Ferry fees? does it cost extra for a camp trailer, is it per car or per person or weight?
Do I need a permit if I am just driving to the beach campgrounds? or do I have to have one no matter where I drive?
any suggestions on camp grounds... hints, tips tricks and places to avoid would be awesome too. Thinking late Oct/Eartly Nov
33's, 2' lift, Snorkel, Warn XD95000 Winch (Just exploded... July 2014), UHF, 6 Point Cage, and no clue on how to use any of it... I drove over a gutter once!!! and it wasn't the rounded variety either!!!

it probably depends on when you are planning on going mate...I would say it would be the same as everywhere else in this supposed to be gods given country...the price will change as per the masses and time of the year....I hope you are not considering going now ...there wouldn't be much girls in bikinis at the moment ..lolololol
haven't been there myself yet so really cant help you with the important stuff you need to know...cheers
the one thing wrong with middle age ...is knowing you will grow out of it !

Camp fees, car permits, barge ticket,
Best ring for a price as you pay x amount per cm.. They will ask for the length of the car and trailer. We were given a voucher for a birthday (7 yrs ago) for our car and we paid for the camper and the camper alone was $200-300 not sure about these days but prices don't usually go down.. I don't think there's a fuel station there any more either so carry for the duration your there. Camping is more pleasant on the bay side also as its more protected from the elements IMO.
For the $ you don't want to go just for a weekend.
