Patrol God
It was a fantastic report and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, snicko. Did any of you notice if petrol was available at all the servos?
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Thanks.
Nev was the fuel man and he said that everywhere we fuelled up there was Petrol but he was not sure at Mt Dare.
Maybe the others were more observant.

Thanks again Snicko, only just finished reading the whole report. You have far faaaar surpassesd any of our efforts in the report.
Looks like the rest of your trip was pretty good. Where was the track you did that Nev did 10 years ago and was unmaintained? Looked like a good track, away from crowds at least by the looks of things. Farina Homestead looked pretty good too, bit of a hidden gem.

Thanks Rossco. The pics you took for me of us soooooooooooo close to the top were awesome!! Thank you. I have used one as my avatar.
The track was off the Strzelecki Track. We turned at Mt Hopeless turn off down to Moolawatana Station then right to Mount Feeling back onto the Strzelecki Track. We had our radio on scan the whole time and only heard one voice. Felt very remote but the country was always changing and very beautiful.

Awesome, love those kind of tracks. Feels good to escape the riff raff and enjoy it all to yourself.
