Just to add something a little different,
Fully loaded, 33 muddies, all factory under the bonnet, in sand 14L/100. Straight diesel
Running around town, I get about 11L, turn on the gas, it drops to about 9L, and I dont drive like a nana....

Well, I have a TB42 carbied GQ with a 350 Holley on it (don't ask)
Running 32's, 2" lift, roof racks and drawers, pulling about 2.7t;
on road (85-95kmh) I get about 19.6L/100km on ULP and 20.5 on LPG.
Fully loaded towing a 17.5 ft caravan (75-95) I get about 24 on ULP and 28 on LPG.
Just acquired a TD42T GU wagon, stealing the donk.
Will post figures when she's in!
Wonder if I can bolt the TB42 into the GU and sell it on. hmmmmmm. :-)

TD42Ti, standard intercooler, modified airbox lid, 3" ss exhaust, egr deleted, adrad radiator, original injectors, original injector pump (tuned by myself), UFI 18g @ 25psi.
The old girl has just knocked over 330k she is getting tired in the fuel side of things and the above is certainly at the better end of the figures for me. It has been serviced in the last week so I think that helped.

GQ TD42T (GU Factory turbo), disconnected wastegate and had pump compensator modified to suit.
33's, 3" lift, roof racks, bullbar with light bar on top. All the nasty wind catchers.
Average 11.5 - 11.9 L/100km on longer trips. 12.5 around the Snowy Mtns.
17.5 towing a 17ft full height caravan.
Soooo stoked.
