Well then Matty as far as budget Turbos go what is the pick??
I think I will start out as suggested and get a good manifold but as I mentioned to you in the privacy of my bedroom my budget is only so high at the moment.
Keeping an eye on ebay and fartface for any deals..

I know it might not be high but a DTS kit would be a good addition. It will cost about 3k but this has everything you require and I do mean everything including a complete exhaust so there is no hunting around for anything etc. if that's not your cup of tea then track down a standard gu setup and fit it.
As for manifolds I would highly recommend DTS followed by denco.

I am a bit unsure on the condition of the compressor wheel, I need to get it inspected and then I want to modify it a bit.

You will need a pump with the boost compensator valve on the top also if going turbo.

Not particularly. If he runs a very mild setup like the DTS or a ht18 he can easily get away with the NA pump. It will be a benefit yes if he feels he can afford it it ends up with a compensated pump.
Your setup is a little more expensive than what bloodyaussie is chasing.
