I don't think they were truck horns though. I reckon they came off a ship!
Although he said it I bet he was giggling his ass off over it.

I have an old set that were bought nearly twenty years ago in Bali.
Had them in the Pathfinder I had and they are now in the Patrol.
Have their own air pump and are hooked upto the factory horn wiring with a toggle switch so depending on it's position the steering wheel horn button runs either the air horns or the factory horn.
Only issue I have is if I give it too much of a blast I blow the fuse so short bursts are the way to go.

Hey Ross, you had better watch out for the police mate, as I don't think air horns are legal...... lol

I don't know what the go is in WA but in Vic as long as you leave STD horn hooked up & your air horns are on a separate temporary switch its all good & legal.

i put one of these on my GQ and WOW!! They are Awesome. great price for what you get and smal enough to put anyway. I mounted mine off the intake manifold on a TD42 just above the fuel pump behind teh power steering off the Neg strap bolt.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
