    Im screwed, what size do I need

    Afternoon all,

    I am hoping someone out there can tell me what size screw hole, and/ or screw this is. I have two holes in the right side engine bay, near the large set of fuses are that I want to use to mount my fuse box into. The screws that support the fuel filter fit nicely into these but I do not know what size I need to get.

    If I could get some assistance with this please, that would be super.

    Many Thanks

    Adam

    The bolts that hold the fuel filter on a TD42 are 8mm x 1.25.

    I stripped one yesterday and had to retap it.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    At the risk of being pedantic, a 'set screw' is a bolt that has no shank i.e. the thread goes right up to the head.
    Yeah, I know, we all call them bolts anyway..
